Port and B.S. Sabonis ARE IN THE XII TORNEO "VILLA DE LA RODA"

The Minibasket Tournament "Villa de La Roda" 2009 to be held on June 14 and 13, under the umbrella of the College Basketball PC La Roda, in collaboration with the Department of Sports, an international recovers this year with the presence of Oporto (Portugal) and the BS Sabonis (Kaunas Zalguiris) from Lithuania, for the latter this will be his second visit to La Roda.

A high level of participants who strengthens and reaffirms this Minibasket International Tournament "Villa de La Roda" as one of the most important informal competitions in Spain.
Except Porto, the other teams already have been present in any other edition of this competition. This is the case of Real Madrid and Badalona Youth clubs elite loyal to this annual event.
It is worth noting the return of students from the Arvydas Sabonis Basketball School, BS 97 Sabonis, who already participated in this tournament three seasons ago after his presence can be confirmed via telephone with the Arvida Sabonis, whose experience was so successful that this year again.
To date, the BS Sabonis was the only foreign team that had participated, while this edition will differ as the first in which two teams from other countries in this important event basketball quarry.
The expectations of the organization are very positive about the level of competition, as if this tournament attracts the best in Spain, increasing its attractiveness to foreign clubs to have two high level. This was the BS Sabonis in his first experience in this competition, rather than making a decent fourth.
Now, the Lithuanian team is back led by Andrius Brusokas, team coach, who confirmed the presence of their phone guys in this issue.
In total, twelve teams will be participating, so there are still concrete confirmations. But for now it seems to be one of the most tournaments, becoming a great opportunity to see in action the best players in the category, and not just from Spain but from other countries.

Arbitration Clinic

As on previous occasions, will draw the conclusion of the Tournament "Villa de La Roda" to offer an Arbitration Clinic, in collaboration with the Basketball Federation of CLM, which will include eight arbitrators chosen by the Technical Committee of the Arbitral FBCLM.
